Biography:

Mr. Miller specializes in corporate and general business law, real estate leasing and international law.  He has experience in both private practice and as in-house counsel, the latter primarily with companies in the aviation/aerospace and building materials industries.  In this regard he established the Legal Department at LSG Sky Chefs and managed that department for almost ten years.  As its General Counsel he implemented effective cost reduction strategies by bringing routine legal work in-house and by implementing a matter management system with outside counsel that budgeted all legal services purchased by the company on a monthly basis.  His experience also includes creating a written employee business code of conduct and in implementing Sky Chefs' first "hotline" for handling employee complaints.

Mr. Miller has extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of distribution agreements, consulting agreements, licenses, real estate leases, and purchase and sale agreements for a variety of services and products.  His M&A experience includes participation in a variety of projects as a member of the "deal team" and he has prepared many documents relating to asset sale agreements and financings, including employment contracts, severance agreements and shared service arrangements.

Mr. Miller is a trained mediator under the rules of the State Bar of Texas and has participated as a mediator in over 100 civil cases.

Additionally, Mr. Miller is a lecturer in business law and basic international law at the business school of the University of Texas (Arlington campus).  His teaching experience includes the presentation of continuing legal education (CLE) programs to law firms and the delivery of in-house employee training seminars for corporate clients concerning contracts law and the implementation of effective internal contracts review/approval processes.

Mr. Miller has served on various community non-profit boards, including the Tarrant Area Food Bank and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, All Saints' Episcopal School of Fort Worth.
