Biography:

Jennifer E. Moore has been practicing employment law since she graduated law school in 1996. She litigates cases involving matters of labor and employment law in state and federal courts, and counsels employers regarding labor and employment matters and policies. Ms. Moore regularly provides training for managers regarding sexual harassment, employment discrimination, and disciplinary issues. She has served clients in a variety of industries including technology, retail, health care, manufacturing, financial services, cellular services, and publishing. She is admitted to practice in all Georgia courts; the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia; the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; and the United States Supreme Court. She has also litigated in numerous other state and federal courts on a pro hac vice basis. Prior to joining Jones Day's Atlanta office, where she practiced from 2000 to 2008, Jennifer practiced labor and employment law for three and a half years with a boutique Atlanta law firm, where she focused on defending and advising both public and private employers throughout the country. From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Moore also served as an adjunct professor of legal research, writing, and appellate advocacy at the Emory University School of Law. Jennifer is a frequent speaker and has co-authored articles on current issues in labor and employment law, including sexual harassment, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, violence in the workplace, and discipline and discharge. She is an active member of several bar associations, as well as their corresponding labor and employment law sections.
