Biography:

Ms. Rittenberry has spent the last decade serving on the management team and as lead counsel for one of the largest oilfield materials distributors in the U.S., handling and supervising domestic and foreign legal and transactional matters.  She handles the company's entire risk management program, negotiating with business partners and others in the chain of distribution.  As lead counsel, she developed and implemented all risk management contracts and protocol to ensure profitability while permitting management to focus completely on growing the business.

She brings over 15 years experience in risk management, insurance, and negotiating complex contracts.  She serves as counsel to privately-held businesses in various industries, developing risk-shifting contracts and agreements for the day-to-day operations of distributors and other businesses involved in product distribution, approved vendor relationships, master-service agreements, marketing, confidentiality, consulting, and other areas.

Ms. Rittenberry has served as outside general counsel to a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Tokio Marine Group.

As a former trial lawyer at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, she handled all types of complex commercial litigation, insurance, and regulatory matters, while in their Dallas and Austin offices.  She represented individual accountants and the Big Three accounting firms in complex regulatory actions and investigations, and was appointed to serve on a task force for a Fortune 100 company to advise on CPA regulatory issues.  She is a certified mediator and was charged with lobbying for key clients during the legislative session.

In addition to work at the state and local level, Ms. Rittenberry was appointed to serve 6 consecutive terms as a national board member and officer for the Federal Bar Association, YLD.
